Online Find of the Day

Being a sorority I am always on the look out for new websites to order sorority gear. Well, a new one was discovered tonight: Xavier Gifts. You can personalize any of their products for free (of course everything would say XΩ).
Take a look at some of the gifts (I want them all!).

Style by the Sea

My current obsession right now: NAUTICAL. Although I don't have many pieces in my closet, I am trying to start incorporating it slowly. I'm a bargain shopper (yes, KS just admitted that). Summer time is all about the beach and the sun, and with my upcoming trip to the Hamptons there is no better time than now to rock the nautical trend. I'm ready to take things from the boat to the party!

Here are some of my favorite nautical pieces that I hope to wear throughout the summer and in the Hamptons.

I still need a pair. It is sad that I don't have the staple item of a sorority girl in my closet just yet!

Pinterest showed me this brand (Top Dekk). Love. Love. Love.

Words to Live By.

MMMM...Monograms

Nothing says southern paisley and prep like monograms. Not just one, but on EVERYTHING! It is the perfect to personalize and complete an outfit. I believe it is necessary in every woman's wardrobe. Give it a try anything and everything is monogramable!

Parisian Chic

Paris. I don't speak French, but with my love of fashion and all things Parisian a trip to the wonderful city is definitely on my bucket list.

Just Four Requirements

There are just FOUR brands that I believe every sorority girl should wear, own, and rock at any moment: Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren, Lilly Pulitzer, and Vera Bradley. They are classy with a little bit of retro and a lot of sass. Anyone can pull off these four brands without any trouble as long as you have the confidence to rock what you got. That's what it is all about truly. CONFIDENCE.

Maybe it is the southern girl trying to fight its way out in me, but Vineyard Vines will always have my heart. I am still waiting to own the infamous Vineyard Vines Classic Tote, but it will happen soon. I know it.

The clean lines are so classic making it the number one staple item for any sorority girl whether they are in the south, north, east, or west. It can be carried at the beach, around campus, and out shopping for the latest Ralph Lauren trends if need be. I personally would buy the classic whale, but every print (including the school ones) is just as adorable if worn with the confidence of a true Vineyard Vines girl.

Oh, do I love Ralph Lauren. From polo shirts to shoes to hats. Every bit is perfect. Ralph Lauren knows exactly what class is while still keeping up with the newest trends and colors. Take these hats, for example, The distress fabric is so different and unique, but at the same time they are a classy piece that I hope to have in my closet while down in the southern sun.

Lilly Pulitzer = Sorority life. And sorority life is me. Chi Omega is the best thing that every happened to me. Lilly Pulitzer is a genius when it comes to bright colors and beautiful pieces. I just received my school agenda in the mail the other day from her, and it is better than I ever imagined.

Every Lilly screams southern sorority. Enough said.

Last but certainly not least: Vera Bradley. I grew up with this wonderful brand. It was my first "designer" that I incorporated into my life. Vera Bradley knows takes classic to a whole new level with simple colors and crazy paisley prints (my obsession). I lost count years ago of how many Vera Bradley pieces I have. All I do know is...

I don't have enough yet.

Girls. Take my advice. Invest in these brands. Love these brands. and Live in these brands. You will not regret it one bit.

Hello to a New Beginning!

Attending one school for a year then transferring to another is always a chaotic situation. But when the transfer involves new fashion, a new sorority, a new lifestyle, and a new atmosphere, it is so worth the butterflies swimming in my stomach. Nashville will be an experience that will forever be in my heart (or so I hope). From Chi Omega to the hustle and bustle of the southern city of Nashville, it's going to be a life experience I will never find again. I plan to use this blog to illustrate the southern city life that I will be thrown into on August 19 with a focus on fashion, sorority life, DIY, and everything country.
